I always found technology to be relatively intuitive. I remember spending hours on our first Windows PC just clicking around until I thought I had figured everything out, only to find out that there was so much more to computers than just pointing and clicking. Eventually, I helped upgrade our home computer to play the latest video games and learned about building PCs.
Over the years I would be our family’s go-to tech support and found helping people with their technological issues very rewarding. From salvaging a family computer from the junk pile to saving thousands of personal photos thought to be lost on a bad hard drive.
I eventually turned to video game consoles and more complex repairs which required a more specialized set of skills. I would find cheap broken systems and fix them for a fraction of the cost of a new console. I would do this with several different systems, each with their own challenges.
Eventually, I became comfortable enough with the different systems that I decided to turn my hobby in to a service for others.
I have been repairing and restoring many systems over the past few years with many satisfied customers along the way.
